Maddy’s mission to look eligible for Shruthi

Director Nishikant Kamat after an impressive Tamil debut with Evano Oruvan, is geared up to commence his next venture, once again with his favorite actor cum friend Madhavan.

The film is titled ‘Enrenrum Punnagai’ the famous opening lines from a song from Maddy’s first film Alaipayudhe. The interesting fact about this film is that Shruthi Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan will be making her screen entry after declining many offers.

Enrendrum Punnagai will have music scored by Shankar-Ehson-Loy and it has been reported that the trio had composed six songs in just one week. The theme is touted to be a romantic thriller in which heroine Shruthi is slated to sing two songs.

Hero Maddy, to look younger and to match with the young and beautiful Shruthi, has gone on a strict diet and exercise regimen and has shed a lot of flab. Enrendrum Punnagai will go on floors in June.

CLOUD NINE & LINGUSAMY ROPES IN ARYA AND MADHAVAN!

Cloud Nine Movies have roped in Madhavan to play the parallel lead role along with Arya in Vettai. The film is being directed by Lingusamy and both the heroes will have lead pairs. However, the heroines have not been finalized yet and will be announced shortly. It has to be mentioned here that Maddy and Lingusamy have given a smash hit already with the film Run.

According to a press note from Cloud Nine Movies, “It’s going to be great working with Maddy and Arya and we are eagerly looking forward for the shoot to start. This would be one of our big productions as we have the top technicians of Tamil cinema working in this movie and it is guaranteed that it would be a visual treat and definitely a very good entertainer.”

edit : Toujour d'après Behindwoods, une version Télugu serait tournée simultanément , avec Mahesh Babu reprenant le role d'Arya, et Maddy garderait son rôle.

Vettai moves to new location

The third schedule for Madhavan and Arya’s Vettai with Lingusamy is slotted to begin in Thiruchendur shortly. Cinematographer Nirav Shah and Lingusamy are hunting for locations there and once they have made up their minds, shooting will resume sometime next week.

Maddy is Arya’s big brother in the film and he will be playing a cop complete with a fierce moustache for the first time in his career. Sameera Reddy will be paired opposite Maddy and Amala Paul opposite Arya.

Arya and Maddy are sharing screen space for the first time. Insiders say that they have good onscreen chemistry as they are buddies offscreen and the combination is going to work big time. We will find out soon enough.
