AJITH

Ajith Kumar nait le 1er mai 1971 à Hyderabad, en Adhra Pradesh.Pendant trois ans, il a joué de petits roles dans de petites productions indiennes.Il se fait remarquer en 1995 dans Aasai et depuis a joué dans une 40ne de films.
Ses fans le surnomment "The Ultimate Star".
Outre ses talents d'acteurs qu'il a su développer au théatre, c'est un excellent pilote de Formule 3.En 2004, il était le 3ème meilleur coureur d'Inde.Il a également une passion pour les courses de motos.

Au début des années 90, il sort avec l'actrice Heera, mais en 1999 il fait la rencontre de l'actrice Shalini, qu'il épouse en 2000.

Ajith becomes the happiest man in the world

Ajith must certainly be the happiest man on earth at this moment and why not, every man who knows that he is going to be father for the first time will be. Everyone get ready to wish Thala and his sweetheart Shalini the very best as they prepare to bring their first child into their lives. News has just come in that Shalini is expecting and we take utmost pleasure in being able to break this news to all the fans of Ajith.


This is undoubtedly the best moment in the happy married life of one of the most celebrated star couples in Kollywood. Their relationship is said to be made of the stuff that fairy tales are usually made of. We hope that the birth of their child will add more happiness into their lives.

The entire family is reportedly just short of jumping for joy ever since they received this news. Shalini has been asked by her doctor to take care of herself and not to carry on with her badminton, quite normal. We, along with all well wishers of Ajith whole heartedly congratulate the couple. As for Ajith, well becoming a dad is just great, it also brings with new responsibilities including more time to be spent with family. We are sure that Ajith is already planning out all this. All the best, Junior Thala is set to arrive.

De retour de Malaysie où il tourne actuellement son prochain film Billa, "Ultimate Star" Ajith a connu une poussée de fièvre virale inquiétante. Il a été admis dans un hôpital privé de Chennai où on lui a conseillé de prendre quelques jours de repos. Ils sont forts les médecins quand même.

Good news to Ajith's fans is that, he is back home from the hospital. It is said that he got ill due to the change of food habit in Malaysia, were he was shooting for Billa 2007. According to the doctors treating the actor, he has been discharged from the hospital but should be under complete rest for the next month or so. The actor is now said to recuperating at a farm house on the East Coast Road.

Being a thoroughly committed actor that he is, Ajith is still insistent upon completing the filming of Billa. Whether the actor, heeding the doctors' advice will rest for a while or succumb to the work pressure is yet to be seen.

Si tu regardes un peu plus haut, il y a la filmographie complète d'Ajith...
Si tu nous demandes où tu peux te les procurer, cela dépend où tu habites. Si tu es dans les environs de Paris, tu as le quartier de la Chapelle/Gare du Nord. Si tu es plus loin, tu peux toujours commander les films par le net, notamment sur le site d'Ayngaran (www.ayngaran.com).

The latest buzz in Kollywood is that the bollywood hot sensation Deepika is going to act in a Tamil movie with our Thala Ajith. Sources add that Saran, who would direct the film.

Although the news hasn’t been confirmed yet, sources believe that if this project turns up it will be the next big thing in Tamil cinema. It can be recalled that Deepika Padukone has made waves in Hindi movie world even before her movie Om Shanthi Om with Sharukh Khan went on to become a super hit. Ajith is also anxiously awaiting the release of his ‘Billa’, which he is an important move for his career.

Deepika started her career in movies in the kannada movie Aishwarya, opposite Upendra.

Saran, has earlier given successful movies like ‘Kadhal Mannan’, ‘Amarkkalam’,'Attahasam’ and ‘Vattaram’. Saran is also director who has the reputation of working with big stars like Kamal Hassan and Madhavan.

Elle est originaire de Mangalore et ça peut être une bonne stratégie pour elle de partir à la conquete du Sud...En tout cas elle en a le potentiel. J'ai eu un vrai coup de coeur pour elle dans Om Shanti Om...J'espère qu'elle va vite confirmer.

Après son retrait prématuré du projet, ce serait Ajith qui pourrait bien reprendre le rôle du Shah dans le prochain film de Shankar, Robot.
Il débuterait le tournage après son prochain opus, Akbar, qu'il tourne sous la direction du danseur devenur réalisateur Raju Sundaram. Ajith aurait immédiatement accepté l'offre après avoir entendu l'histoire...

Girl baby to Ajith and Shalini

The wait is over! Ajith and Shalini are now blessed with a bundle of joy. Shalini gave birth to a girl child in the early hours (1.40 AM. - 2.10 AM) of today.

Shalini was admitted in Appollo Hospital in Chennai yesterday morning. The child was born after a caesarian operation. Both the mother and child are in good condition, confirm the sources close to the couple.

The couple couldn’t have had a better New Year gift. Ajith, who is basking in the glory of the success of his latest film ‘Billa’, is on cloud nine. The couple is quite happy to have a new entrant in their life.

It’s worth recalling that Ajith said in a press meet conducted prior to the release of ‘Billa’ that he or Shalini had no choice regarding the gender of the girl. “We want the child to be healthy”, was his response.

IndiaGlitz wishes the couple and the new born a happy and bright future.

Ajith est à Hong Kong où il tourne pour son prochain film (réalisé par Raju Sundaram). Des cascadeurs chinois auraient été associés au projet...Ca promet des bonnes scènes de bastons acrobatiques...

In spite of the crew being tight lipped, a few snapshots of Ajith and the crew in action have flooded the media showing Ajith sporting some stubble. The crew is


just back after filming stunt sequences in Hong Kong and is busy with the second schedules in and around Chennai.

Credible sources state that Suhasini and Naser have been contacted to play Ajith’s parents (there is no news yet of them nodding consent) and that Yuvan and Raju Sundaram will travel to France for the music composition.

Enfin un titre pour le prochain Ajith...

It’s official. The title of Ajith’s next movie, directed by Raju Sundaram is announced. ‘Egan’ will be the name in which Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif makes her debut in Tamil films.

Earlier, it was said that the title would be Akbar. Now it has been finalized as Egan, which means single man. Ajith, going by the title, might e seen as ‘one man army’ involved in a great mission in the movie.

Egan also refers to lord Siva according to Hindu Mythology.

The first schedule of the movie is already over in Malaysia and the next schedule is planned to be started soon in Ooty and Neelagiri. The movie, which is said to be the remake of Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster ‘Main Hoo Na’, is expected to be released around November, 2008.
