Alors il était temps d'ouvrir un topic sur Monsieur Prakash"jesuisdanstouslesfilmsduSud"Raj ..Sérieux, ces derniers temps, à chaque fois que je mets un dvd, tamil ou telugu....il est là!!




Prakash Raj est né dans le disctrict de Dakshina Kannada, au Sud du Karnakata.Sa langue maternelle est donc le tulu. Depuis qu'il travaille beaucoup à Kollywood, il a déménagé à Chennai.
Il a joué en kannada, tamil, telugu, et même hindi!Sa spécialité?les rôles de méchants, les villains ou depuis quelques temps les pères tyranniques...
Prakash compte à son palamrès de nombreux trophées, mais surtout deux National Awards dont un pour son rôle dans Iruvar...
Il s'est lancé depuis dans la production, notamment avec Mozhi qui est un vrai succès...

Kendra et merci! J'apprécie beaucoup cet acteur, je le trouve trop excellent dans chacun de ces rôles. Celui qui m'a marqué évidemment c'est dans Ghilli!lol

Ah Merci Kendra!! C'est vrai que c'est un incontournable prakash RAJ!

J'ai pas encore vu beaucoup de films mais j'avoue que j'apprécie beaucoup son talent!
C'est un vrai caméléon, un coups comédie, un coups dramatique, franchement moi j'aime beaucoup!

Prakash Raj est un acteur et producteur célèbre en Inde du Sud, il a joué dans des films tamils, telugu, kannada et hindi.
D'origine kannada, il est connu sous le nom de Prakash Rai au Karnataka.
Il est devenu l'un des plus célèbres "villain" dans le cinéma telugu et tamil.

Récemment, Prakash Raj a prouvé qu'il était également un très bon réalisateur. Parmi les trois films tamil qu'il a produit dernièrement, deux se sont révélés comme de véritables Block Busters (Mozhi, c'est lui)
Poi, film produit par Prakash Raj et dont le réalisateur n'est autre que son mentor K.Balanchander, sortira très prochainement.

Véritable camélon, il a joué une multitude de rôles dans le cinéma tamil telugu.
Son talent lui a valu plusieurs récompenses dont deux récompenses nationales (National Awards): une pour le « meilleur second rôle masculin » dans Iruvar mais également une récompense spéciale du jury pour sa prestation dans Dhaya , son premier film en tant que producteur, qui au passage est excellent.

Wahouu,c'était long ^^, mais on se prive pas d'un acteur comme Prakask Raj !
Prakash c'est Engal Chellam
Et particulièrement mon Chellam, parce que pour moi, c'est un des meilleurs acteurs du cinéma indien, si ce n'est le meilleur...

Excellente biographie Ranikutty, j'adore aussi cet acteur, il est tout simplement excellent.
Je précise juste que Poi est sorti avant Mozhi, un film ....comment dire.... un peu bizarre mais sympa ( en gros c'est une histoire d'amour entre un jeune homme qui se cherche et une jeune file qui fuit l'amour pour assouvir ses ambitions, Prakashraj joue le rôle du mauvais esprit qui met les obstacles dans la vie du jeune homme...).

J'ai découvert cet acteur dans Aasai, où il jouait un méchant (pas avec la machette mais c'est plus un thriller psychologique...que je vous conseille d'ailleurs il vaut le détour) face à Ajith (à l'époque j'en était fan, c'était avant Suriya lol). Il m'avait vraiment impressionné, mais je ne pouvais pas trop aimer un méchant quand même . Puis je l'ai vu dans Minsara Kanavu avec Kajol, sa prestation était trop forte . Depuis il n'a cessé de camper des rôles différents à chaque fois, et ça lui va à merveille!!!

Prakash Raj is the busiest actor in south. He is working round the clock, trying to complete the films he has committed and reading the script for those which he is producing!

Last week he completed the shoot of Priyadarsan’s Kancheepuram in Mysore where he plays a communist leader , rushed down to Chennai to play God in Simbudevan’s Arai 305!

Next month he flies to never seen before locations of Bali, to play the role of a Tamil superstar in Vellithirai and sing a song with Gopika, under the direction of Viji. The film also has Pritiviraj playing a struggling script writer, and is produced by Prakash’s home banner `Duet Movies`.

From the white sandy beaches of Bali, Prakash Raj flies into Chennai completes his pending dubbing work and then goes to the hill resort of Munnar and plays Trisha’s father in Abhiyum Njaanum directed by Radha Mohan!

And in October he will join the unit of Dharani’s Kuruvi, where he plays a bad guy! Added to all this he has half a dozen commitments in Telugu and Kannada.

Says Prakash Raj: “I really hope that I’m able to keep to my dates, and complete my prior commitments, before signing new films.”

Vellitherai: Spoof on cinema

Prakash Raj's home production 'Vellitherai' is fast shaping up. Starring Prithviraj and Prakash Raj in lead roles, the movie will be a spoof on Tamil cinema.

It may be recalled that Shahrukh Khan's 'Om Shanthi Om' (OSO), directed by Farah Khan, was a spoof on Bollywood in 1970s. Quite similar to OSO, 'Vellitherai' has a few scenes imitating actors of Tamil cinema in 1970s.

The movie is a remake of Malayalam hit 'Udayananu Tharam' that featured Srinivasan and Mohanlal in prominent roles.

The scenes are kept a close secret and director Viji is giving his best to get the act right. Prakash Raj plays a hero in the movie and Prithviraj as director. It drives home a point that the industry is hero-driven and the director has to play tunes according to the whims and fancies of the hero. Viji has narrated the entire proceedings in a hilarious manner.
Will 'Vellitherai' also meet the same fate of OSO? Let's wait and watch.

C'est clair que Prakash Raj, c'est quand même un très bon acteur, et comme j'ai l'impression d'un tout petit moins le voir ces derniers temps, il me manque Vite, reviens!!

Shattering the family man image he seemed to carry around until now, Prakashraj today visited the Family court in Egmore seeking divorce from his wife and erstwhile actress Lalithakumary. Rumors were also rife about the couple’s marriage being on the rocks and Lalithakumary’s sister Disco Shanthi trying to make peace between them.

Speaking to media outside the court briefly, Prakashraj stated that he and his wife have mutually agreed to split and lead lives separately. He also mentioned that he wanted the custody of his children. Prakashraj further dispelled the rumors speculating in the media about his association with his personal secretary, dance master Boney Verma, and another actress stating that they were mere rubbish. “Those are just baseless and unsubstantiated rumors and I’m not such a person to go around with people while still in a relationship,” Prakashraj clarified.

Prakashraj’s wife Lalithakumary, however, has not approached the court yet for filing a divorce petition.

Prakash Raj vient de se faire banir de l'industrie telugu, par un accord mutuel entre les producteurs et une associatio d'acteurs....
Apparemment, PR aurait tendance à prendre l'argent pour les rôles, mais oublier de venir les jours de tournage ou ne venir que quand ça l'arrange.... Une bien triste nouvelle, parceque ça nous fait comprendre que c'est peut-être pas le mec le plus formidable au monde, et surtout mais comment ils vont faire dans le sud si PR joue plus les méchants???QUI va le remplacer??

Prakash Raj est de retour...

Prakash Raj who underwent a lot of personal turmoil, after a messy separation from his wife, is now trying to complete his Duet Movies Radha Mohan directed Abhiyum Njanum !

The colossal failure of his Vellithirai was a financial set back for him, as he distributed the film himself all over Tamilnadu. Now he has slowly come out of it and resumed the shoot of the Trisha film.

Two songs are being picturised for Abhiyum Njanum, one on Prakash and Trisha who play father and daughter, while the other one will be a Trisha solo. The film has music by Vidyasagar.

After the completion of the songs, the film will be in the post production stage. As of now the film is likely to release for the 'pooja' festival on October 1.

Notre cher petit Prakash Raj s'est remarié avec Pony Verma, une chorégraphe qu'il fréquentait depuis un certain moment. Il avait divorcé en novembre dernier de sa première femme, Lalitha Kumari.

The marriage, which was conducted in Punjabi style, was attended by family members and close friends of the two.

Prakash Raj’s mother, his two daughters, his sister and her family, and his close associates, directors Radhamohan and Viji, actor Kumaravel, cinematographer KV Guhan and Tanya Samthani were moving about, making the guests feel comfortable.

Dressed in a maroon Sherwani, Prakash looked every bit of a Punjabi munda and needless to say, was grinning from ear to ear! His wife Pony Verma too was blushing throughout and the couple indeed looked like they were made for each other.

Pony is a famous choreographer in Bollywood and has made actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor dance to her tunes. She had also choreographed for Prakash Raj’s latest Tamil offering, Inidhu Inidhu. Before the marriage, she was working on Hemamalini’s project, Tell Me Oh Khuda.

Personnellement, j'ai 2 objections à ce mariage :
- la soeur de Lalitha s'appelle Disco Shanti, rien que pour ça, fallait pas divorcer, à moins que ce soit pour épouser Disco Shanti elle-même
- si il veut être plus souvent à la maison avec Pony, il va faire moins de films. Vous imaginez Prakash faire seulement 5 ou 6 films par an ? Et est-ce qu'il va faire aussi bien les méchants ?

Quand même elle a l'air un peu jeune, la mariée. La bonne nouvelle c'est qu'elle est *beaucoup* plus belle sur ses photos de mariage qu'en vrai.
Et Pony, ca me fait penser à Kuch Naa Kaho Mais c'est seulement son surnom punjabi donné par sa tante car elle s'appelle Rashmi. Au Sud on l'appelle Boney Master apparemment.
